It Never Fails

The sun will rise. The sun will set.

Though we may doubt so many things,

the sun has never failed us yet.

The sun will rise. The sun will set.

Against the sun I would not bet.

Regardless what the morrow brings,

the sun will rise--the sun will set.

The sun has never failed us yet.

I am not familiar with this form of poetry PSA but it is impressive and its repetitiveness I love - well penned, beautiful. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

This was my first attempt. One of our very new members, Sherilyn Kucharek has been experimenting with them and inspired me to write this one. ~ PS

This is really a good one! Well, they're all really good! Anyway, I am reminded of a saying from the Talmud, paraphrased. 'The Sun shall rise without my assistance.' Sure puts things in perspective, doesn't it? Glad to see your new stuff!
