It Might Be Lonely To Be You
The world seems a huge dump site
The air is darker than the night
Habitually in the street, there are fights,
So how would you feel if these were—caught by your sight?
Peace is nothing but a pinch of soil,
Brotherhood—just a drop of oil
Are these the creatures that you’ve mold?
So did you feel when they exchange you in a piece of gold?
Lives can be sold and buy,
Preachers, speak a bunch of lie
They can’t greet you, even with a simple Hi,
So how did you feel every time they bade goodbye?
Oh God, if your people have horns instead of halo,
If they laugh when their companion is in sorrow
Forgive me if I tell you without so much ado,
That it might be lonely to be you!
