It Just Another Rainy Day
There are times when my joy is taken
from me
and the rain starts pouring out of me
my heart starts to pull me in different
directions my emotions take the best
Of me
aim fighting to keep my dreams
from becoming nightmares
I try to reason telling my self
I will prevail
my positive I seen turn into negatives
my energy striped from me
my sorrows I keep locked
inside of me so that no one can see
My smile hides the hurt that hugs my heart
my laugh is a front to throw off the pain
that bumps threw my vain
that feeds me the victim with anger
to weak to fight for love seems to
have blind me
to tired to run for I been down
this same road many of times
Is just another day going bye
Not coming back
the same watery clouds
in my eyes no sign of clearing
no sun to brighten up my day
and bring me joy
