It Is You
My famished vision looks out for you,
the moment you are out of my sight.
My heart throbs with the tune of my yearning,
as my essence embraces your graceful soul.
I follow your enticing footprints
to the fervent destination of desire,
where I envelop you with the ardor of my love
to turn into burning ember of unfading amour.
When I feel I have fallen within fathomless void,
hover in the dark horizon of the wasteland,
you give me the shining sunrays of your charisma,
make me the colorful collage of the dawn sky.
When in the deprived life losing the river of longing,
I get desiccated like a dry depression in the desert,
you shower for me the soothing rain of fondness,
make in me an adorable oasis of your beauty.
When in the labyrinthine valley of passion,
I wander as an abandoned channel,
you allure me with the torrent of your fervor,
make for me a cascading stream of dream.
When in winter’s bare garden of emotion,
I am alone like unfurled bud between wilted leaves,
you usher for me the sunburst splendor of spring,
bloom in my heart red roses, I make a bouquet for you.
