Quite difficult and challenging as a form,but happily managed to convey the bulk of my feelings on the issue.

"It is what it is", so sayeth the narcissist,
As the numbers tick up to 250,000.
No need to take the merest action,
Since the majority of those affected are Brown, or even Liberal.

Your indifference shocks the world.
As always, you surrender to what you cannot comprehend,
And dub it wisdom.

There is no reason in your sphere, only sycophancy
