It Hurts

IT HURTS

IT HURTS TO KNOW THAT YOU LIED
IT HURTS TO KNOW YOU LOOKED ME STRAIGHT IN MY EYES
IT HURTS YOU FOOLED ME
IT HURTS YOU PLAYED ME
IT HURTS THAT YOU LOOKED AT ME
IT HURTS THAT YOU HAD THE GUTS
IT HURTS THAT YOU TOOK ME FOR A FOOL
FOR A SECOND THERE I THOUGHT WE HAD SOMETHING
BUT WHERE IS IT NOW
WAS IT NOT YOU
WHO TOLD ME THAT YOU LOVE ME
WAS IT NOT YOU WHO PROMISED ME THE WORLD
WAS IT NOT YOU WHO PROMISED NOT TO HURT ME
IT WAS SURELY YOU FOR I STILL REMEMBER IT ALL
I REMEMBER THE THINGS YOU TOLD EN TAUGHT ME
BUT WHAT HURTS MOST IS THAT
I WAS A FOOL TO THINK YOU ARE DIFFERENT
IT HURTS THAT I TRUSTED YOU
IT HURTS....
IT HURTS

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
