It Hurts

It hurts to breath,
It hurts to be,
inside this form,
where no one see how much i cry.
They ask me why?
But i have no reply.
I can hurt as much i want,
I can fix my hurt with my scars,
But no one can fix the scars on my heart.
For only i can fix my scars

Riveting self-analysis... wanna hug? ('breathe' for 'breath' in line 1) I imagine it made you feel better to get this out... God bless, Keith

A very sad and haunting poem. I always believe that time heals everything - both scars and hurt - but most importantly, believe in yourself and your talent. Wishing you the best and have a Happy holiday season. Peace always, John

This is great. Very deep and touching. I know from experience how difficult it is to hurt so bad and to feel alone and lost in that hurt. It helps me to write about and I hope that it helps you too. I also hope Justin is doing well. Keep writing, Sammy. Love Robin

Beautifully written Samantha, and also sad - I felt like crying along with you. I just posted one a bit ago, "Beside You," it is kind of a love poem but written from God's point of view, you are welcome to read it, if you would like. I loved reading your poetry, look forward to reading more of your work. :) God bless, Amy

Okay I agree as well so now you're out numbered. God has amazing healing power. He can even turn our sadness to gladness. It too much for us to do. That's why he's there Samantha. Hope your friend is well. In Christ, Laurie
