It Helped

I cried today
One last time for you
Not really because I was sad
But more so, to release the anger

It helped to let it out

Then I contemplated the reason
People cross paths always, for a reason
Why did you walk on mine?
I reflect on situations
I know the answer
I see it... I feel it
I know our purpose has reached it's peak
There is no more to take...no more to give

It helped to know it is over

I wanted to erase your memory
Move forward as if you never existed
So I started writing a new story
With new twists
New characters
And happier endings

It helped create new hope

I do believe that things happen for a reason and we can be bitter or better from the experience. Nicely put. Sara

Angela, Don't you wish some life experiences came with a delete button? It would make things so much easier. I guess prayer to God helps us learn since delete is NOT an option. Keep writing. Dane Ann.
