It Happened On a Rainy Night

"Foggy mists engulfed the bright When raindrops fell throughout the night The lampposts glowed at midnights dark When sweethearts kissed at Lover's Park" As crickets sang their lovers' song Under the umbrella, you held me long. Your strong arms around my waist. Walking home, after our foretaste.

Wow, this is such a beautiful poem hued with the fragrance of love and petrichor.. So saccharine and wonderful! I'm in awe of the delicate descriptions here, so emotive and heartfelt.. Yet it holds a sweet magical ambience.. The elegant word-weaving here has captivated my soul! :)

Sara, I must express my deep appreciation for the overwhelming emotions that your words have evoked. The way you have intricately woven together a tapestry of love and affection in your writing is truly captivating. Your second stanza, in particular, is a breathtaking masterpiece that seamlessly harmonizes with the enchanting essence of the first.
