It Had Been The Worst Day

It had been the worst day or so I thought. See I have come to learn that when you're younger you say things “like today was the worst day ever”, but then you say it again and again forever. I said it when I dropped my ice cream then when my dog died, of course one is worse than the other. But I still said that those days were the worst. We may think there is one day in our life that is “the worst day ever” but really there are just days that are worse than others and then they get better. They always get better. Don’t they?
