It Feels Like Home

It feels like home.
The click of keys on an ancient typewriter,
The perfume of ink and parchment.
The knowledge and words of those before me.
I believe it is getting too much,
The realization that I am
Holding history in my hands.

History in hand and in hands. Your poem makes me think of the beautiful gift of those before us. Congratulations on your win, Kai

Very deep and thought provoking but has a familiar sense as well. This is warm and it does feel like home. This was really nice Sarah
