It Comes Like a Thief
I was lying on bed
Facing the all white ceiling
And my eye picked a lizard
I zoomed in once or twice
And closer the reptile came
I saw it nod, it was thinking
Next move, my sleepy head waited
Sooner, off, into Dreamland I dozed
My eyelid dropped on both
Slumber comes like thief
Now should I remember the dream
A crocodile chased me
I jumped enough to wake
Up the all white ceiling
There was still the lizard
Asleep this time
