It All Has Been

Mostly it all has been:

   Love is syrupy this; love is cute that;
   love is alluring that; love is rosy this.
                 But hardly anything that

                 love is a living grain
                 it feels the scotching sun
      it can groin,
      it can complain
      love suffers pain.

                The neglected fact.
