Isolation

isolation is more than the entrapment of flesh
it is the barrenness of the mind and soul

the lack of lifes punctuation

though faces and bodies are present
revolving in circles as the roles you play
         play out

and then once again the core of being
returns to sit on its island

internalized into apathy

where color and sound has no meaning

its a cycle where we choose the same again and again
bound by chains we don't even see

much less comprehend

isolation is where pain stops
only to be defined again with a different type of meaning
