Isobars Shifted
the weather report predicted hectic thunder storms
oil jackets and umbrellas for all the stars in the show
stages were empty though except for a curtain raiser
who had failed to seek her measly social security grant
not exactly a win win situation but equal opportunities
celebries to shine without script or gambling predictions
the betting shops were closed because it was Sunday
an existentialist’s dream and history on wild trump cards
entropic gases confered about unpredictable precautions
how to prepare for a status quo under threat of extinction
they had a fizzy feeling that nothing would ever be the same
change loomed hard in which friends and foes had to join forces
an army of advisors made up fake news and polled opinions
with election day the public was consumed by soundbites
promises and a shower of funds should their particle succeed
only one tick on the ballot and no more crosses to endure
a vacuous echo spelled the far end of nothing in particular
gravity was approaching and denial became out of reach
just one moment but then a Big Bang much louder than hell
God was not pleased that someone else was coming up first
