Isn'T It Strange
Isn't it strange,
with eyes dimmed from age,
we can see more clearly.
That we can see further
when standing at the foot
of another friend's grave.
That we can shed tears
and smile at the same time.
That our hands can touch,
a face dear and distant,
more gently than then.
