Is this Just Another Poem?
If we all know where we are going
Do we then just write another poem?
Where all we do is stand and stare
To yours and mine just over there?
Mine I know are not very good
I never said that they would
Change the way that we all think
Or clear the blockage from the sink
Me, I am just a man
You though are the one with a plan?
Or did I just get that wrong
If, so I need another song
I like the fact that poetry
Means you and I and them and me
Will just sometimes then agree
That we all need poetry!
