Is there True Love
I've traversed mountains high, where sunbeams sear,
And swum across oceans, vast and deep, and clear,
I've penned love letters, with a hopeful heart,
And waited patiently, for love to play its part.
I've shed my flaws, and cultivated virtue's ground,
Becoming more than good, I've searched for love profound,
I've walked the earth, with a longing soul,
Crying out, "Is there true love? Make me whole!"
I yearn for one who'll love me, flaws and all,
My best friend, my confidant, my partner in every fall,
Someone to cherish, to miss, to adore,
My person, my everything, forevermore.
Is there true love? I beg, give me true love,
A love that's pure, genuine, from above,
Where hearts entwine, and souls connect,
Where love resides, and forever we inspect.
My heart, it aches, with a love so strong,
It beats for love, and love alone,
True love, the balm, that heals the soul,
Where peace and joy, in each other's love, make whole.
True love, the greatest medicine, they say,
The missing piece, that makes life complete each day,
It's where I find myself, in loving eyes,
Where love resides, and my heart finds surprise.
True Love Is All I ever needed,
A love that's real, untainted, and freed,
A love that's mine, a love that's true,
A love that's meant, just for me, and for you.
So I'll hold on, to the hope in my heart,
And trust that true love, we'll never depart,
For love is the reason, we breathe, we live,
And with true love, our souls, forever thrive.
Is there true love? I know, it's real,
Give me true love, and I'll forever heal,
For true love's the treasure, we've all been searching for,
The love that completes us, forever, evermore.
