Is There Ever Enough?
Is there too much for the heart to bear?
Is there always enough light
at the end of dark tunnels?
When holding a child's hand
can there be too much tenderness?
Is there enough music?
Some they say: "Never enough."
Some reply, "how much do you need?"
Sadness: How large can a vessel be
before it can take no more?
For sadness is a drug you must take
to ready you, for that peace
that is beyond any understanding.
Is there ever enough money?
Money is the currency of gifts and blessings.
no,
money is only enough if its ceases to be,
the flow - the currency of love.
And love, what can be said?
It is that which blossoms,
it blooms, it withers,
yet love remains in the seed that brought it forth.
Love abides.
Is there too much for the heart to bear?
Only you, in time,
may answer.
I dare not.
I cannot.
