Is There a Stone In the Skies
Vivid within my eyes
Colors of hue- I sigh
Looking serene in view
I seek the trembling skies
Beauteous blues - I endure
I wake each new born day
I sit and ponder at the dew
Eloquence , be it may
The sunrise on my face
Left tears with lines I trace
And when the sun sets
I part with my morning blues
And grasp for the nightly air
I breathe the midnight hour
And the skies that tremble so
Breathless they too became
Beneath the stars I sit
Quenched - my soul it feeds
Tis the closing of the night
Now blackened hues tough in mind
Imposing now too on my life
Is the spectrum in twilight?
It really disturbs so - indeed
And when the moon set in with the house
I too can cultivate the weed
Another day goes by - I sacrifice
My time to endure the beauty
With God's trembling ear I see
And worship the heavenly skies
Blue beauteous wonder - I proclaim
The skies, I ponder with, kept me sane..
