Is There a Field

Is there a field that war didn't tread
Of anger, rage or an ill word said
The sandal of the reaper ath not trod
Or forgotten souls have not cried God

Is there a dawn that in peace I may wake
Show me a sunrise that I wont foresake
Give me a day when the world is at peace
Or a tomorrow when the horrors will cease

Is there a prayer that all mankind can hear
That fills us with hope and isolates fear
Creating an ambience for mankind to share
Releasing the anger, that causes despair

Is there a field where my thoughts can lie
And to sleep in peace under a tolerent sky
Pray be so, journey, take me there
Lest I be lost, and my future bare
