Is That Her

Is that her?
What a pretty smile.
Does she really know?
The destructive power of all your lies.

Can she see?
Our children crying for you tonight.
Does she care?
About your daughter’s fading smile.

Is that her?
More important than your children’s loving smiles.
Your daughter worshipped you like a Hero.
Now she sees the weak, cheating Bastard behind your eyes.

Is that her?
So beautiful, so mild.
Does she understand?
How much ruin you bring to lives.

Does she see?
The evil behind your eyes.
Has she felt?
The freeze from your heart of ice.

Is that her?
Innocence fallen for all your lies.
How long do you think it’ll be until she begins to realise.

That the love you promised her…

was just another lie.
