Is it just another sunrise?
Let’s see now
Do you eat?
Get up
And go about your daily life
Do you appreciate all that God does for you?
From preventing things that can happen to you
Preventable things
And non preventable things
So that you can go enjoy your breakfast
at McDonald’s
Grab a coffee at Starbucks
Live your ordinary or non-ordinary life
Did you know that God has a Hand in all that?
Who gives you money so you can buy that coffee
biscuit?
Who led you to a job so you can earn that living?
Who gives you breath, mobility, voice
So you can carry on your wildest achievements
God - only God
And don’t ever forget that
If it wasn’t for Him
You would be dead a long time ago
Many times over
If it wasn’t for Him
You wouldn’t be here
Period
No stopping guessing here
We are so unappreciative
of what have been done for us
and keep on complaining
bemoaning about the little things
some dissatisfactions
And totally lose sights of the big picture
We are not here for ourselves
We are here for God
- His purpose
- His enjoyment
As long as we can remember that
We are good
As soon as we stray from that
We’d become lost
As we begin to serve ourselves
And that is not good
What is the world without the Sun?
What is the world without God?
One can only imagine
But not live in it
Hades
That is what it is
So here in our world
Not just another sunrise
Not just another day
because God lives in it
