Is Heaven Horizontal?

Is Heaven Horizontal?
by Frank Daub

Is Heaven horizontal, Up, AWAY?
Or in the sky?
How ?
Will I find that place on the second when I Die?

Time seems most essential
for the journey that must be.
Preparation? Consequential.
It is ETERNITY.

Is there someone who can say?

Is Heaven a STATE – Of mind?
A condition of the – SOUL?
What will I find?
The mystery of a never-ending role?

A Condition that after journey, Becomes fruition,
based upon the pleasure of the Guide.
And if a Guide, the mission?
To start -- I died.

Is Heaven UP, horizontal, AWAY,
Or in the sky?

A thought-provoking poem that lets its visual form embody its searching spirit: the stretched spaces, emphatic capitals, and recurring questions create a sense of distance, uncertainty, and eternity. The circular return to “UP, horizontal, AWAY” gives the piece a haunting, unresolved resonance, while its plainspoken questions about death, soul, time, and guidance make the philosophical inquiry feel immediate

Oh I love this. A like on this one for sure! I know what heaven will be. If you are willing to put aside skeptisicm, you need to go to YouTube and watch the interviews done by John Burke with souls who became braindead and saw heaven. Howard Storms story is very powerful. He first saw hell because he was an atheist living a sinful life as he reveals in his story. He became a pastor due to what he learned from Jesus. You have to read John Burkes Imagine Heaven. It is so inspiring! Howard too has written beautiful books. Hope you will check these people out

Great, Frank. I am doing ok. I am a fan of the reality show Big Brother and I am stoked that my favorite player won tonight!
