But is he the real Santa Claus? The child asked. I did not have a ready answer, for I truly did not know. But he looked like the Santa I had always dreamed of. He told me to tell her “Winkie”. That sounds good, she agreed. I guess he is the real Santa. I have no idea why that was the deciding factor but truth is usually stranger than fiction, right?
