Is He Near Or Far
Is our God near or far,
He who came to save our dying souls?
Is His name so sweet on your lips,
that you may illuminate His being when you speak?
Is He near or far?
Do you melt into His word –
do they taste of life or death?
Do they radiate from deep within
flowing out as a colorful pool of serenity?
Is our God so real to you
that His presence hems you in with His love?
Drifting child you may find Him;
He alone is the Lord of all creation,
He among us has made Himself to be known.
Seek Him for He is near –
seek Him and you shall find.
