Is God Watching

Is god watching this film of mine?
The movie I’m in right now.
With pistachio nuts, a glass of wine,
rooting for me somehow?

Does he grimace at the screen
or cry when I’m feeling down?
Does he see where I’ve been,
laugh when I’m acting the clown?

Does he see my mistakes, take in
the circumstances which contribute
to an act considered a sin,
to then overrule it as an attribute?

Does he know me as a person
and that I have my many faults?
Does empathy exist within
the deity where perfection is the default?

Or are we all god, one who plays so many parts,
to then re-enact each upon the screen?
If so there are billions of films to see,
surely enough to last eternity.
