Irony

Embracing change
Is never easy,
Dealing with change
Forced upon you,
Is even more difficult,

I never expected you to
Leave so unexpectedly,
I thought we would have more time
I wish we had more time

Like in the past,
Time decided
Our time was up

Here I sit,
With loads of time
And the only thing I wish for is change...

Hey Wilma, Is bly dat jy het gelag oor dit, is reeds 'n ou grap hier! Thank you for your note! I am staying war and drinking a glass of Retsina (?ets??a) a dry white resinated wine. I don't know if you ever tasted it. The first glass you'll have to get used to, but I like it. Never saw it here in the supermarket so I bought two bottles. This helps me to stay warm! ...TC..Gert:) And of course enjoyed your poem!!!

You're right, Wilma, change can be difficult. Sometimes, however, it opens new doors for us. If you are facing change now, I hope you find the key to the door of happiness. Love, Carolyn
