Ironic.
Even more so than,
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.
A middle finger to sanity.

I'm
I am
Life.
Or at least the definition of life.
Or so I think to myself.
As I slowly get irritated,
By the roots of all these plants.

Its great to come across poems such as this (I mean that utilise economy). The layout of the poem works really well and gives a real punch to the words. I imagine that you wanted to use the word 'Hippopotomonstrosesquppedaliophobia' and perhaps saw this as a vehicle. But for me it is the final line that really gives the whole poem that impact
