Iron Will
The great poets of past,
The song writers of old,
Shall turn in their graves,
At a message so bold.
Your human mind,
Is all you control.
The deeds of your body,
The scares on your soul.
No matter the weight,
No matter the pressure,
If it is your life,
Saying no is your pleasure.
Your mind is yours,
And always to be.
It shouldn't be swayed,
Not even by me.
If fortitude is your only gift,
Ne'er from that path should you ever shift.
This gift I give,
If this gift you bring,
For as a puppet in life,
You must hold your own string.
