Iron Heart

It's early morning...
               The day is dawning...
               I hear a gentle yawning...
               As you are born..
To a day that's you and
               me.......
               You rub your eyes..
               and yawn again...
I turn and kiss your cheeks...
you smile and rub your sleepy
               eyes...
You roll over and move my way...
               Wrapping your arms around
               my chest...
               Were two abreast....
               A treasure chest..
               I hold you close...
               Feeling your body warmth..
               You make that sound..
               that makes me smile..
               and snuggle even tighter..
               It seems so right...
The night is now the light...
And you are in my sight..
               My pure delight...
               my morning sunlight...
               So bright...
               So very...
               Very bright...
               You yawn and close..
               Your eyes.......
