Iron Clad
To persevere and forge ahead
To be strong when times are tough.
All night and day work hard and tread
Only a few could call their bluff.
Emotion masked yet deep inside
To persever and forge ahead
Strutting only with that known stride.
Attitude must remain well read.
Iron clad yet ice cream within
Not cold but hot with desire
To persevere and forge ahead
A candle with a bright fire.
A heart of gold that's fun to see
Kind of like a ride on a sled.
Like staring at a deep blue sea
To persever and forge ahead.
