Irie

Optimistic everything will be alright, Security is built by being vulnerable not by building the biggest wall or purchasing the best vault

What is the one thing you can’t live without, and where would you be if you didn’t have to worry about anything

What makes your heart smile and your eyes sing

Joy is so subjective especially from the retrospective, but in the moment, you never care

In the moment you can’t stop smiling and nothing can break your worst nightmare is forth coming

But it would not matter, in the moment you cry tears of joy, and if it does rain it happens exactly when you get your umbrella out

Taking a nap, watching a movie, or Sunday afternoon tucked away at home or with friends

You are on vacation blurring the lines of fun and trouble, you conquer fears and accomplish goals

You don’t have to set an alarm for tomorrow and all the bills are paid

You are driving your dream car to your dream house, your highest level of happiness last forever

You get to heaven and see everyone you’ve missed; these moments come and go so when it knocks at your door be a friendly neighbor

Life has highs and lows and right now I’m not where I want to be
Someone once asked me “where would you be if you didn’t have to worry about anything?”

To which I answered on the beach of Jamaica with my wife and son where the locals say

p.s. “everything’s irie…”
