Invitation Part 2

Maybe I asked him to rape me
the first time in the bushes
hiding from one adult and others
prison kids do some mean things

playing footsies I sent an invitation
not knowing exactly what he was in for

neither did I

Adults talk about "if you go to prison
you gonna get raped, don't drop the soap"

Thomas thought that one invitation meant five
crashing through the bushes to find me
until the next polygraph they asked
what has happened to you?

crying in a "couselor's" office in front of my dad
flashbacks of being three I said it was just an invitation
