Invisible Songs Getting Used To

If you have things to do
Do it shameless as it is
In shadows cast by tasks undone,
Embrace the chaos, let it run.

For in confusion, he finds delight,
Dormant voices stir in the night.
Awake, dear soul, it’s time to paint,
Your face with colors, bold yet faint.

Even as grievances take their flight,
He stands aloft, a constant sight.
With tears that flow like rivers wide,
I grasp the truth you try to hide.
Remember, love, it can't be mended,

Not yours to keep, till life has ended.
No urgency in the heart’s soft plea,
Though he seems civil, it’s plain to see,
He shuns the noise of passion's fade,
Yet still, the game of life is played.
Let’s befriend the man you shun,

Like you with me—our caring done.
Curious how we can vex the day,
Let’s forgo sleep, let shadows play.
A twist of fate, a wild charade,
In mental realms where dreams invade.

We’ll seek in darkness, hide and flee,
While serenades of sorrow plea.
Whispers haunt, their essence worse,
Yet gratitude is what they’ll curse.
By dawn, they fade into the light,

Preparing gifts for the morrow’s flight.
For that’s their way, to slip away,
Ensuring we forget their stay.
Yet here at home, we’d wait in vain,
If they didn’t come, we'd bear the pain.

Some interesting lines here, John. Clearly conveys clarity in confusion or confusion in clarity. Had to read it twice. We’ll seek in darkness, hide and flee,> this line made me think. THANKYOU for posting. Best intentions your way, Ghairo.
