Invisible God

I gave it all for an invisible God
I packed up my heart
Sacrificed what I loved most
For an invisible God
I poured out my tears
Soaked my sheets
For an invisible God
I’ve questioned everything I am
Everything I knew
Everything I wanted for an invisible God
Where is he now
I’ve walked forward blind
Leaped when there was no ground
All to put my future in the hands
Of an invisible God
Spent sleepless hours on my knees
Cried to the heavens
Laid out my hurt at the feet
Of an invisible God
Is all this in vain
Will I wake to find it all for nothing
GOD I GAVE YOU THE LAST SACRED THING I HOLD DEAR
Is it worth so little to you
An invisible God
