Invisible Battles

I cannot be judged by looks alone, Not by the glitter when I smile and shine. Beneath the light, I carry pain unknown, Yet still, I seek to brighten this world of mine. Does the spark I give bring shadows near? Perhaps in sadness, hope and strength appear
