Invisible

Invisible is how you make me feel,
But I am here; I am real.
Nobody cares what I have to say,
I feel like I'm always in the way.

Invisible in heart, body and soul,
Nothing can ever make me whole.
Because you took my heart and broke it in two,
Now there's nothing left between me and you.

Sometimes I feel like I wouldn't be missed,
If I chose to slice down in my wrists.
That's something I thought I would never do,
Because that would be like giving in to you.

But now something's changed deep inside of me,
And I long for comfort; I wish you could see.
The love I have for you is undeniable,
But you just make me feel invisible.
