Invisible
I followed you into the wood
Silently barefoot behind I stood
A nymph of sorts unknown to you
Yet hearts beat as one like lovers’ do
I breathe the air that you exhale
So close to you I will prevail
Tip toe I follow behind your form
Through sun and wind or thunderstorms
I shelter you my sweetest soul
A light in darkness to take you home
A shelter when the weathers’ wet
A warming feeling when cold besets
Invisible but these words I write to you
With all my heart and soul I do
For I am yours and you are mine
A love bequeathed like aged wine.
