Invincible

Birds chirping outside the window
Rain pouring on a spring day
The smell of flowers
Reminds me of funerals
We'll all have our day
Noose tied tightly
Gallows they sway
Head first in to the shallows
Not knowing the real way
Our demise decided
By lifes twists and turns
Flames that shined brightly
No longer burn
Remember with a smile
And maybe a tear
Try clinging to life
Instead of holding on to death s fear
