Invest To Save the Planet
The fires rage thought out the bush
yet still we do not listen
The ozone layers depleted
rising heat in play
Teach the people saving
teach a better way
create a solar planet
clean air now everyday
Venice it is sinking the
ice caps melt away
the ocean, it is rising
some Islands sink away
Electric cars for driving
if rich men buy them new
they'ed filter down to others
clean air, then coming through
Governments with budgets
could plan, invest in jobs
creating work for others
with forestry and logs
Trees then filter carbon
creating air to breath
creating air for breathing
seems the thing to me
Stop the wars and fighting
your planets life needs your aid
come together working
don't build the horror rage
Save and work together
invest, creating work
farms with crops and harvests
also, clean the breeze a new
Reduce the kids you're having
just two of them would do
the human's growths enormous
our planet just can't cope
The oceans now depleted
the sickness creeping through
come together saving
Invest in fishing farms
replenish then our oceans
creating food for you
creating healthy oceans
would be the thing to do
Invest and come together
It's not that hard to do
work, to save your planet
It is the thing to do
I've said to many others
for just a tenner each
invest in farms and oceans
invest in solar power
invest in clean technology
invest, in air to breath
invest create employment
invest creating wealth
If Governments and church
if synagogue's and mosque's
if people came together
invest creating jobs
We could build a healthy planet
and live among the snob's
wealthy men build companies
creating work for you
become a wealthy person
and you can do it too
to build a shop MacDonald's
would cost a million bucks
I don't have, that money
I guess, like most of you
but if a million people, invest ten dollars each
it becomes ten million dollars
creating jobs for you
invest it is the answer
to build a better life
build a healthy planet
and make a happy wife
with money in her budget
she can feed the starving child
with food, now in its belly
The child laughs and plays
add to that then dancing
and wars might go away
as people that are happy
don't need to immigrate
the problems of this planet
might start to dissipate
as people that have money
Will spend it on their food
with jobs that make them prouder
there is no need for feuds
teach the people working
to build economies
to make a healthy planet
and satisfy their needs
