Into Your Night
Spill your night over my day,
Put your lightless moods,
Like black clouds,
Over my sun,
So your own shines.
I’d take your darkness,
Gather it with my own
Into a whole day of night,
Mine alone.
Over and over.
And knowing your light is returned,
Feeling for you your sadness,
Still feel gladness.
