Into Thy Hands

I lost someone I used to love -
The father of my children
We divorced years ago;
And I grieved then

We kept in contact -
Through the kids and grandkids
He remained in my regular prayers
Along with family and friends
And/but he just died

My tears dried up long ago
But I feel strange
Do I keep praying for him?
Does that keep him tethered to Earth?

He should be moving on
I should be moving on
But. Is there a Prayer of Release?
Do you know?
