Into the Sun

Sunlight, I feel you again,
Smiling, warm against my skin,
As though you were born to ease
The pain I hold within me

Sky, you open wide above –
So clear, so blue, so full of hope,
And I can see the Wind rush
As it dances 'round my feet

Nature, O simple mirror,
How you answer my heart’s call
As I walk through darkest valleys,
And back into the sunlight.
