Into the Night

INTO THE NIGHT

Go not into the night
For the darkness is the ward
Of hade’s most tempestuous soul

Wander not into this godless realm
Where angels fear to tread
For the shadows are alive
And foretell the advent of harm

Enter not the place
Where the demons are within and without
And fantasy mirrors reality
Obscuring judgement

The cold envelope of doom
Will rattle all
And chill the fearless
Right to the bone

The mist of doom
Torments all feeble psyches
That dares to traverse the twilight zone
Tripping the unwary
Trapping all in deepest despair

Do not enter the night
For it is a time of misery
And a place where nature
Does not follow
The rules of fair play
