Into the Dust
Deep in the shadows
A past is written.
Deep in the shadows
A future is dimmed.
Upon those who walk into the
light
Upon those who pull off a fight
Upon those who think they
have any right
Deep, in the shadows
One is most forgotten.
One who will give their all
Defend those unworthy and
those noble.
Deep into hatred
Forced upon many
Given in on behalf of all
This one child,
Will damned us all.
Deep in the shadows
The child's hatred burns
Red eyes so bright
The moon lingers at night
A child's urge for revenge
The dark deeds and evil ways
All poured into a young child's
brain.
A setting example
From the parents who all
claimed
They would love their child
But,
Deep in the shadows
A future is dimmed.
For,
Deep in the shadows
A child's present was poorly
written.
And all the while
Deep deep deep in the cold
dark
Uncharted shadows
A past, can never be forgotten.
