There is something about flying. I describe it as having the world appear as our doll house! I hope you have many chances to go up and enjoy. After some time doing this, we who remain realize that being careful is paramount. There is no flight (in light general aviation) that must be made! Believe it our not, I am still involved in this crazy profession--but in a ground position. At some point, we know it's time to hang up the wings.

Jan, there is nothing wrong with Microsoft Flight Sim, it is a neat piece of kit for anyone wanting to spread their wings across the globe. And when you crash, it doesn't hurt. Maybe Microsoft should do onf for relationships :) . Viv x

Thanks, Kim. There is something very therapeutic about leaving all the hassle beneath you for a while. Oh, and our last flight was topped off with a mug of tea and a bacon sandwich before flying home, so a double whammy. Viv x
