Intimacy
Intimacy
Your jagged pain and sorrow
Reaches out and tears at my thin, see-through walls
But when I eventually stop fighting,
Slowly, in the half darkness,
Perceive some pieces of forgotten treasure
In a dusty cellar.
Your cleansing tears rain on my desert garden,
Watering withered, dried out roots,
Causing the well in my heart to flow through my eyes.
The drum in your chest, echoes in the cave of mine,
Awakening ritual drummers and dancers
In the ancient echoes of my mind .
Your gentle touch opens rusty doors and windows,
Letting healing light, penetrate to the core of my dark bones.
Your shy vulnerability and insecurity
Is like an exquisite yet faded painting
That I recognise,
Mirrored, in the depths of my soul.
Your feminine grace and rich natural beauty
Fills my being with wonder,
Igniting the fire of my inner man.
Your soft / strong, sensual body, is like a wild cat,
Sending shivers of delight through my back, legs, hips and heart.
Your deep Womanly presence
Is like a proud yet tranquil Queen,
That wakes a sleeping part of me
And I hear the distant voice
And remember, head bowed in gratitude
My strong and peaceful Warrior King.
The pure light and wild fire in your eyes,
Warms, excites, incites, provokes and scares me,
And again I know
That my deepest longing is to
Unpack my suitcases, unlock the secret rooms
And(somehow) Love,
Unconditionally –
You, me
And all of
Them.
Right now, tomorrow and always.
