International Women's Day 2023
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
Away from activism and heroism
With the wish that appreciation and respect
Will punctuate our envisioned futurism
That love and unity may oil our every prospect
We celebrate our able and beautiful women
And by extension the premium rib they came from
And most importantly the decision from heaven
Of helpers that did well to come
Ye are special and that without a thing to prove
Though ye are swayed and wooed to equal the man
History is guided by so many a feminine move
Though their names don't sign off the plan
We were once a society together a blazing fire
But independence separated each smoldering wood
We celebrate now on the road to things getting dire
Worrying of a cold world in which we bring a brood
Man sires the woman, woman births the man
Have no conflict with that which ye have stake
Celebrating the woman is celebrating the man
Let's pledge to make than leave strife in our wake
Nevertheless enjoy the day with joy and merry
Ye are the pride of elders and mothers of children
And ye are now ripe for truth beyond flattery
For ye know that the path of light need be taken
