Internal Inhibition

Internal inhibition is a virtue in a way The cautious way of keeping what you meant to give away No matter what you make of it you have to think it through Internal inhibition is a cautionary zoo No matter what you think of it you have to face the fact Internal inhibition is a urinary tract The urgency of giving in a transitory state The subtlety of living in a less obliging wait You may have thought your feelings were the first to be explored The primacy of dealings with a stranger you ignored The notion of your noggin is a noble way to think The practical promotion of a prehistoric link The modesty of wisdom is a wonder to behold A coat of many colors with a gray and aging fold The dress of our undoing is a naked way to be Internal inhibition is a clothing factory. Bryan, I may have said this before but I'm going to say this again: your poetry is superb. The themes, cadence..its all spot on. For the life of me I don't understand why you don't get pages of people praising your work. Your bubble of illusion poem should have been a winner in my opinion. As much as I love Poetry Soup I am forever frustrated by it too. Please keep writing and don't be deterred by the lack of responses. You are a great poet. Cheers - Gary
